Who We Are

Jennifer Ringenberg
Co-Owner & DVM
Dr. Jennifer Ringenberg founded Pallium Animal Hospice to provide compassionate, relationship-centered care for pets and the people who love them. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, she spent eight years as an emergency veterinarian, caring for critically ill and injured pets while guiding families through complex medical decisions. Her experience revealed a passion for hospice and palliative care, where the focus shifts from curing disease to maximizing comfort, preserving quality of life, and supporting families through every stage of their pet's journey. Dr. Ringenberg believes every family deserves the time, guidance, and reassurance to make end-of-life decisions with confidence and compassion. Through Pallium, she is honored to help pets experience comfort and dignity while helping families create peaceful, meaningful goodbyes in the familiarity of home.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her wife, cooking from scratch, tending to her pollinator garden and finding
quiet moments outdoors.
