Effective Date: July 30th, 2026

Welcome to the Pallium Animal Hospice website. By accessing our website, scheduling services, or engaging with Pallium Animal Hospice ("Pallium," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Pallium Animal Hospice

Pallium Animal Hospice is a mobile veterinary practice providing hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, caregiver support, and in-home end-of-life services for companion animals within our designated service area.

Information provided on this website is intended for educational purposes and should not replace an examination or consultation with a licensed veterinarian.

2. Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR)

A Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) may be required before certain veterinary services can be provided, in accordance with applicable state laws and veterinary regulations.

The existence of a VCPR is determined by the attending veterinarian based on the specific circumstances of your pet's care.

3. Educational Information

Articles, blog posts, downloadable resources, and educational materials available on this website are provided for general informational purposes only.

These materials are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace individualized veterinary medical advice.

If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please contact your primary veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

4. Scheduling Appointments

Appointments are available by request and subject to veterinarian availability, travel considerations, and geographic service area.

Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee that an appointment has been scheduled until confirmation has been provided by Pallium.

5. Fees and Payment

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.

Fees may include:

  • Veterinary examination or consultation fees

  • Hospice or palliative care visits

  • In-home euthanasia services

  • Medications

  • Medical supplies

  • Travel fees

  • Laboratory testing

  • Aftercare coordination

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances may change unexpectedly.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.

7. Emergency Care

Pallium Animal Hospice is not an emergency veterinary hospital.

If your pet is experiencing severe pain, difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, seizures, trauma, or another medical emergency, please seek immediate care from your regular veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

8. In-Home Services

For the safety of our staff, veterinarians, clients, and patients, we reserve the right to modify, postpone, or discontinue an appointment if conditions within the home present a safety concern.

Clients are responsible for providing a reasonably safe environment for veterinary services.

9. Medications and Medical Supplies

Prescription medications are dispensed in accordance with federal and state veterinary regulations.

For health and safety reasons, medications, compounded prescriptions, opened medical supplies, and other regulated products generally cannot be returned.
