Service Description

Caring for an aging or medically complex pet can bring uncertainty, grief, and difficult decisions. Pallium offers optional grief guidance and support to help families navigate anticipatory grief, decision-making, and adjustment after loss. Support is provided by a trained grief guide and offered as coaching and supportive conversation, not psychotherapy. These conversations can occur during hospice care or after a pet has passed. **Legal / Telehealth Note** Georgia law requires an in-person examination to establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship before telehealth guidance can be provided. Pallium begins care with a comprehensive in-home hospice evaluation so that follow-up support can be offered safely and legally.
